A comfortable studio apartment is available for overnight guests (family or friends) of our current residents. Current active waiting list applicants are also welcome to rent the Guest Apartment  as a way of learning what it’s like to live at McGraw House. The apartment may also be rented by family or friends of current board members or staff (if available; guests of residents get first priority).

The room is fully furnished, including a queen size bed and a pullout couch. It also has free WiFi service.

PRICING: $100.00 per night

Payment for Guest Apartment fees made to McGraw House and must be paid in full (by check or money order only, not cash) before keys are issued.  Payment for half the amount due is expected at the time of reservation. All no shows will be charged accordingly.

Check in/check out:  Guests are welcome to check in starting at 3:00 pm; exceptions based on availability.  Check out time is 11:00 am; after 11:00 am, another day's use fee is charged.

Contacting staff:  Staff are available 24 hours a day for EMERGENCIES ONLY.  A sign on the front office door says who is on-call when the office is closed.

Please note:  (We do not supply toiletries – be sure to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, etc.)

• Your reservation is not valid and keys can not be issued until a written agreement is signed and returned to the Front Office with payment.
   
• This is a non-smoking facility and smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises.  Any violation is grounds for a fine and/or future reservation refusal.  
   
• Pets may stay in the Guest Apartment, or in a resident’s apartment, though not unattended. Proof of valid rabies vaccination is required. [view Application Info/Pet Policy section of this website for a list of eligible pets]
   
• There is no phone in the Guest Apartment.  There is cable TV.

Damage:  Guests are responsible for all cost of any damage in the Guest Apartment. 

Keys:  McGraw House staff will provide you with one Guest Apartment key and one front door fob.  When you check out, please leave them in the Guest Apartment, return them to the front office, or slip them through the mail slot if the office is closed.  We charge $60/each for non-returns (payable to McGraw House).

Obligations of the Parties:  McGraw House/LUBS is not responsible for lost or stolen items. The guest(s) agrees to indemnify and hold McGraw House/LUBS from any liability for personal injury or property damage sustained while occupying the unit or on the premises.
